Current Club Presidents met the Governor at 5:45PM and received her official service project pin. Tom Harvey, Charlene Lossing and Roger Lossing were awarded Centennial Awards for their contributions and personal donations to the Eliminate Project, commemorating Kiwanis' 100th Anniversary in 2015. "Louis Wood is a Granville High School sophomore and member of the soccer team. He was in a car crash in September that caused severe brain damage and hindered use of his right side. Since the accident, Wood has had the support of his family and close friends as he works to recuperate.
'The response from the community has just been incredible,' Lou's father Adrian Wood said. 'The insurance doesn't always cover what we need for his therapy, so we've been relying on the people and fundraisers.'"
