Pelotonia 2015, 2014, 2013 - Chairman Rick Pyka led 16 volunteers wearing Kiwanis' yellow Event Staff shirts helped guide pedestrians at intersections and crosswalks (traffic, bikes and supporting crowds) with the Granville Farmer's Market downtown on Sat. August 1, 2015.  The Pelotonia is a bicycle tour fundraiser for the Ohio State James Cancer Institute. Cyclists raise money riding different distances including a two-day 100 + 80 mile ride to Gambier, Ohio through Granville on day one, approximately 65 miles. Granville is recognized as one of the largest crowds and most welcoming community along the route. Many cyclists expect our crowds, smiling as they pass and take photos.

Licking County Cross County Invitational hosted by Granville held at Bryn Du Mansion. 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012 - Kiwanis members help the teams and parents by collecting tickets and directing traffic and parking for the multi-school boys and girls middle and high school cross country invitational. Congratulations to the 2014 GHS Women's cross country team ranked #1 in the state. Chair Jennifer Lewis.

Granville High School basketball ticket taking - for many years the Kiwanis Club has collected tickets for both boys and girls' JV and Varsity home basketball games and tournaments. Current chair Jerry Miller.

Welsh Hills School fundraiser - Kiwanis Club members help guide traffic and parking for this annual May auction and fundraising event at Welsh Hills School.

July 4th Parade - volunteers in yellow shirts safety guard intersections and direct parking and pedestrians during the Granville 4th of July parade on July4 in downtown Granville. Parade vehicles line up near Wildwood and the mile long parade proceeds east along Broadway, from 10:45AM to noon. Children and families reserve spaces on blankets and chairs along the road. Children eagerly accept candy handed to them from parade entrants, dignitaries and floats. Chairs Troy Butler and Tim LePontois.

July 4th Fireworks - volunteers direct pedestrians and help police monitor crowd safety before, during and after the free public fireworks displace in  Wildwood Park during the annual Granville Fourth of July celebration. The Granville Communiuty Foundation has been a significant contributor to the fireworks display since 2012. Chair Mike Birkmery.
