2010 Granville Kiwanis 4th of July Parade
Parade will be held on Monday July 5th

Parade Theme: “A Century of Scouting”
(In recognition of the Girl Scouts 98th and the Boy Scouts 100th year anniversaries)
Floats are to be decorated based on a Scouting principle. Girl Scouts are honest and fair, friendly & helpful, considerate & caring, courageous & strong, responsible for what they say & do, respect themselves & others, respect authority, use resources wisely, & make the world a better place. Boy Scouts are trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean & reverent.
Cash Prizes to be awarded for the following parade categories:
BEST COMMUNITY FLOAT $100 $75 $50
BEST COMMERCIAL FLOAT $100 $75 $50
BEST OPEN FLOAT $100 $75 $50
BEST DECORATED BIKE $15 $10 $5
GRAND PRIZE AWARD:
BEST FLOAT IN PARADE - IKE FULLER AWARD
Commercial Entry Fee: $40.00 for each vehicle
Non-Commercial Entrants: No charge
ENTRY DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2010
Everyone must pre-register for the parade.
All entrants not pre-registered by June 15, 2010 and who would still like to be in our parade, will be assessed an additional $50.00 late-registration fee.
