RACER INSTRUCTIONS:

Following racing etiquette, slower athletes are advised to stay towards the right side of the course, even around the half-way cone, to enable faster athletes to pass safely. There is one water stop located before mile 2.

COMPETITIVE WALKERS will have different bibs and must walk the entire race. If you plan to run and walk, you must sign up for the 5K Run Race. Walkers who do not follow this instruction will be disqualified from the awards.

The 5K races will begin at 9:00 A.M.

Awards will be presented when both races are completed. A raffle will take place during the period before the awards ceremony.

Packet Pick-up (Race Day) at the Granville Intermediate School, 2025 Burg Street, Granville, Ohio 43023 will begin at 8:00 A.M.

The course route passes
he Maple Syrup "Sugar Shack" located near the water stop. Ask a Kiwanian at the race to learn more about the maple syrup project in Granville and learn more about the new Memorial Maple Grove Project started in April 2009!

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING GRANVILLE COMMUNITY AND OUR CLUB!

The primary purpose of the 5K race is a fundraiser for the club's community projects. Tax deductible donations for the race can be submitted to the Granville Kiwanis Foundation, a 501c3 public charity, type 2 supporting organization to the Kiwanis Club of Granville.
